It's been a while since I've posted a Wednesday Wardrobe! To be honest, I've been lolling around in oversized sweatshirts for the past few weeks, dreading the thought of planning my days' outfits. If I can wear the same clothes several times in a row without running into the same people, I'll take full advantage. I've been sick, I've been busy; the excuses are endless. But dressing slumpy doesn't really make me feel any better or make my schedule any less demanding. I'm a firm believer that if you dress good, you'll feel good. So why not start off a great day with a great outfit? As comfy as my yoga pants are and as great as they make my butt look, wearing them to class multiple days in a row is just self-sabotage.
Stylish doesn't have to be uncomfortable. You simply need to find the right pieces. This jersey miniskirt is super light and has an elastic waistband so it moves with me and I don't feel constricted all day -- it's just as comfortable as my yoga pants, I swear! When I feel like bundling up, I can layer up with a colorful cardigan over a trendy button-up for a classy cozy look. And my ultimate lazy style tip? An awesome hat! This thing has saved me many a dirty hair days and actually upped the wow factor on my outfit in the process. Throw all of these easy style elements together and you can still be comfy while breaking the curse of the sweatpants.

Copy Cat: 1// Skull Blouse - Romwe 2// Accent Belt - Asos 3// Black Mini Skirt - H&M 4// Wool Chain Fedora - Forever 21 5// Mossimo Ankle Boots - Target (thrifted) 6// Chartreuse Boyfriend Cardigan - UO
I love how you put outfits together! And that belt is such an awesome piece!

Thank you! :D
DeleteHaha I feel ya one the wearing the same outfit over and over thing. I'm a barber, and not only is it always freezing in my shop (summer or winter), there is the matter of the itchy flying hair all over. So I have my uniform of about 5 looks, one for each day I work, all layers and items that do not hold on to hair. No one seems to notice. :)
ReplyDeleteI really love that blouse. Also, that cardigan looks super comfy!
