The other day I shared some tips on creating effective mood boards. Gathering the visual inspiration is the fun and easy part, but putting it all together in an organized fashion can be time-consuming. So I’ve created a few free mood board templates for you to use in Photoshop to get you started!
A basic understanding of Photoshop layers and clipping masks is required. I’ve included instructions on a separate layer in the PSD file to give you some guidance on how to use these.

Happy Friday everyone! Christmas is just around the corner. I haven’t even finished my Christmas shopping yet, let alone started wrapping. But if you’re ahead of the game, I’ve created some freebie holiday gift tags to spruce up your packages. All you need to do is download the file, print it onto cardstock, cut ’em out, hole punch, and tie with string or twine. I have a few different options — big, small, colored, and lineart only. Feel free to use for all your personal gift wrapping needs!
If you use these these on your gifts, I’d love to see! Upload a photo and tag me on Instagram @stuckwithpins!
I’m a creature of habit and familiarity, so I rarely (read never) change my desktop wallpaper. I’ve used the same background from The Fox is Black for the last two years. But with October now in full swing, I needed a change of scenery to get myself hyped up for the Halloween season. I threw this vintage floral pattern together with an old scientific illustration of a bat to create a new wallpaper last night and thought I’d share it with you all! Enjoy!
